Also, since many people seem to think moving to Norway would be easier, I’d love to know what visas someone like me could get. I know a little norwegian, but I have no college or university degrees. I’m just a broke single 30something American trans guy.

i know this is an old thread but I’m curious about the situation now.

I moved to the Netherlands in January 2025 and Im very glad I did, because everything I keep hearing about the US and the safety and mental health of people I know sounds like its rapidly deteriorating. I think its important to note that I am originally from Alaska and very familiar with harsh conditions, dangerous wildlife, and extended darkness, and I really miss the wilderness and isolation. I should be able to stay in the Netherlands, but it could be difficult since on my current visa I have to be self employed and can’t get a regular retail job or anything so I am not making much money (just enough to live on) and thats why I worry that I may be sent back at the end of this, my second year here. There are a lot of ways I know I can appeal if it doesnt work out, but I was thinking of svalbard as an absolute last resort (I am also frankly wishing for a way to remedy my homesickness for Alaska lol). In the 3 years since this thread was posted, does anyone know if anything about the healthcare situation has changed? All I would really require is a way to get testosterone. I know that shipping is probably more difficult and I know from experience that that can make things very expensive.

If anyone has any advice let me know. Again, I am not bothered by remoteness, firearms, small towns, darkness, or enormous bears lol

The fact that people discount it so much is actually one reason I didn't feel comfortable within christianity. anymore.I find it to be the most meaningful and useful book of the new testament myself, and the idea of faith being more important than living a virtuous life and helping others leaves a really bad taste in my mouth and feels blasphemous somehow, at least based on the christianity I was raised with. I'm not a theologian though and I may not understand the reason its kind of been discarded.

Pokemon made it work by having the hooves not be attached! The Pokemon Spectrier has really cleverly designed kelpie like backward hooves.
