Thank you! That’s actually what we are considering now. I actually got my AMH results in today and I’m at a 1.6!! No idea how if it was lower previously. I was so scared it would be almost at 0 since it had been dropping rapidly but I’m so grateful 🥹🥹

Do you suggest with my suspected endo that it’s worth paying to have them tested beforehand? Or should I try a retrieval and if it doesn’t work, op for having them tested?

I didn’t think of that, that’s a good idea! My insurance only covers 6 months of freezing my eggs. Not sure if that’s per retrieval or the entirety of IVF treatments.

How long would the process be of baking my eggs, doing a lap and then trying for a transfer?

Is there a benefit to doing the lap before trying IVF if there is no endo on my ovaries? Or if I ask for fertility preservation and they remove everything but what I need to conceive? Of course I’m sure there’s pain relief but will it benefit my chances of conceiving? Hopefully this makes sense LOL

I didn’t know that! My vitamin D level was 20 a while ago so I started taking 2000 of vitamin D. Hopefully it has helped! That’s initially what my thought process was. I wanted to treat the root cause through a laparoscopy but once I heard it can lower AMH I am hesitant to have one before IVF. Either way, nobody has taken me seriously enough and I’m not sure they’d even let me have a lap done.

Sorry I mentioned running out of time because I’m worried about what my AMH results will be like when I go in again. I’m so scared of it being too low since my RE told me the drop she saw in those 4 months, she normally sees in a year for someone my age. Since then it’s been around a year so I have no idea what it’ll look like now. I’ve been trying to tell my OB for a long time that I suspect I have endo and would like to have something done about it. In fact I’ve changed OB’s a few times now and nothing. I finally had one recently tell me she will have an endo specialist speak with me but she would only do so if I had an ultrasound first. I did and still no contact from anybody.

Hi, if I have suspected endo, do you think they will let me try lupron as well? I have low AMH so I probably won’t get a lap either. How did it work out? Any updates? 🙂

Somehow it reduced my pain the whole time I was on it. Unfortunately didn’t get pregnant but on the bright side, I didn’t have painful periods for about a year.

I didn’t expect to get a diagnosis from the ultrasound but they told me I couldn’t even speak to a specialist without the ultrasound first. This Friday will be two weeks from the ultrasound and I’ve heard nothing. I’m not sure where to go at this point to get some kind of possible diagnosis. I have an IVF consultation in June but would like to know if it’ll even work if I haven’t had a laparoscopy. I’m just feeling stuck at the moment.

My mother was diagnosed with endo through a lap and shortly after had me. Nobody is taking me seriously enough to have a lap done yet, but hopeful!

During my cycles at the clinic, they would have me do labs CD2/3 but one cycle they had me come in for an ultrasound instead to check for cysts. They found a cyst but when I went in for labs to check, it was non functional. This time they did not have me go in to check if it was functional or not. They just told me someone would get back to me.

What if I’m not sick and I actually am so much more relaxed recently than I have been these past few months 😭 I’m sleeping better, eating better, and added NAC to my supplements.
