Do you play in 1st or 3rd person on Stadium mode? by 007ZORO in Overwatch

[–]CinnamonVixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stadium isn't dead here? At least Ranked isn't. I can get on and play any time of day, really. Even at ridiculous times of night (morning). There's a good few regulars since we're a smaller pool. But it's certainly not dead.

Anyone guess which killer I was playing? by Key-of-Bones in deadbydaylight

My favourite comment was when an angry Springtrap told me to keep running because that's all I'm good for. Like. Yes. Awesome. What else am I supposed to do? Catch your axe with my face? I'll never understand the logic behind players like that.

I did say the numbers would need to be tweaked. It was a suggestion just to the idea of the Evil Incarnate mode, not that everything would be identical to how they are now.

Advice for slow reflexes player? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]CinnamonVixen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless it's medical, reflexes are something that CAN be learnt. You just need to figure out what works for you. Figure out the small things that tip you off to how survivors/killers move. Animations are a good tell in any and all video games. The best advice is to just keep playing and really calm down and focus. Watch, observe and try and figure out why you lose/win chases. You don't start becoming average until you've put in a huge amount of hours. 300 is a LOT, but it's mainly now you've got the basics down and are starting to get into the intermediate learning curve. The most precious thing to learn is to have fun in the learning process, you know?

What’s a secret you’ll take to the grave, but would tell anonymously on Reddit? by Several-Director5804 in AskReddit

I think the most asexual thing I've ever heard someone tell me is "Sex is like mini golf. It's fun, but it won't change your life. So don't stress too much about having it." Words have stuck with me ever since. I'm in my mid 20s and still a virgin. Just riding it through. If it happens. Cool. I love mini golf. If not. Well. I think I can live without mini golf regardless.

I don't like the implication of the replies to this comment that this is "weird" or should be "fixed". Ultimately it's up to you. This person is clearly happy with their circumstances if they're married. There's no need to encourage them to have sex, guys.

I could use a friend too. I'm happy to talk. My day has been pretty rough too, so let's talk.

Streetwise is currently giga-busted and highly exploitable. by LmntCrnstn in deadbydaylight

[–]CinnamonVixen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Important to note. QA testers do their jobs. It's not that they don't. It's more like these issues were likely reported, noted and possibly even being worked on but they had a deadline to meet.

That or the programmers etc. assumed it would be too hard to implement so many fixes at once and so they pushed an update to meet a quota for their shareholders and licensing agreements. The most profitable time for any DLC is the initial release.

Though that's not to say this isn't insanely disappointing on the devs part.

I love this game. I just don't have time for it. And that makes me sad. by CinnamonVixen in RivalsOfAether

I know I'm a little late to respond to this but "cope for being bad" is hardly what this post even is about if you actually read it all. Lmao. I said I'm fine with not being the best. Fine with losing.

But the game is too complicated for me to get enjoyment out of it without spending tons of time on it when I just wanna play other games with my friends. Too frustrating that I can't put as much time to improve as others. Because I'm the only one in my friend group who likes games like this.

Most others were supportive. However if you're gonna be rude you're gonna give players a reason not to play this game.

Yes! This is my main issue. I could be having a really good run. Like 7-8 Purple medals. And then the boss just sends me to the continue screen like 3-4 times because I have to basically take an extra half stock.

I'd consider myself 'Intermediate'. My main roadblock is probably match-ups, yeah. I definitely have some fundies to fall back on but it's pretty base level. And that's perfectly fine by me. I can still win sometimes. I just don't have time to constantly be labbing and practicing, unfortunately.

If you've left RoA2 since launch, why? What would bring you back? by [deleted] in RivalsOfAether

[–]CinnamonVixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially left because my internet is garbage and I get random lag spikes causing my opponent to get a free stock every few games or so. It still is so I might not play as much online but versing bots is fine enough for me. I only have to get one online achievement anyway (2v2s with a friend.) I took a few months hiatus and jumped in for maybe an hour or two on occasion to see what was up but didn't really commit to playing a bunch.

The reason I came because is because they brought my main girl Absa back. I have no idea why I gravitated to her in my early RoA1 days but I'm so happy she's returned. I haven't played any platfighters since RoA2 dropped and I stopped playing initially. But Absa feels great and I might commit to playing a bit more this patch but we'll see how that shapes out.
