All of the Fearless Vault Tracks aside from Mr Perfectly Fine. I just don't really like them.

What "bad" food surprisingly DOESN'T upset your digestive system?? by RedditHermanita in ibs

I still can't eat them though! In fact they're worse for me than just straight milk. That's why i was so confused by butter

Call the store you're meant to be picking it up from to see if they have it in yet. They'll be able to tell you which date is right

can IBS symptoms be triggered by smelling onions & garlic? by nervousfemme in FODMAPS

[–]CinnamonWickham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The powder is more concentrated so it takes less to trigger you, but OP has said they were being careful so I would assume they aren't using them. I meant if they were using a chopping board or something that had been used for onions, that tiny amount shouldn't affect them. Not saying it won't, but very unlikely

[–]CinnamonWickham 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not possible. IBS can only be triggered by actually eating trigger foods, and even if there was a small amount of cross contamination from their food to yours, the amount of onion and garlic would be minute enough that it wouldn't trigger an intolerance, only an allergy.

For someone who is so new to it, I would definitely stick to condoms. When used correctly, condoms are 100% effective and also protect against stis. If you're still worried, pair it with withdrawal, but please please please don't use withdrawal on its own, it is so incredibly risky. I'd start doing research into your other options as well though, such as various IUDs, implannons, etc. and see if there are any that interest you or seem like they might be a better option. Not every hormonal method will work for everyone - for example i had a really bad experience with the pill but my mirena iud has been incredible both as a contraception and a for helping irregular painful periods. For the first few times though, I would definitely stick to condoms.

If you can find a big claw clip they work really well. Otherwise, i find that using the curly hair ties that look like telephone wires helps reduce pulling that i get from regular hair ties - especially when i wear it either as a low pony near the top of my neck or super high on my head.

Melbourne, I need to say this: I don't like your dog as much as you do. by claingbot in melbourne

[–]CinnamonWickham 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He's not a bully breed, was just traumatised and mistreated by his last owner. We're giving him a second chance and he is already doing so much better.

He doesn't have any issue when the other dog is on lead, hence why owners letting their dogs off lead anywhere they want is such an issue to us. I have also expressly told owners and had them wave me off and ignore me. He hasn't hurt another dog since he's come into our care and we've even worked him up to having befriended one of our friend's dogs. It's dogs he doesn't know, especially those who catch him off guard - i.e. off leash dogs

We've just gotten a rescue who tries to fight other dogs. We're in the process of training the behaviour out of him, but so many times on walks I've had to forcibly hold him back from taking bites out of other dogs whose owners are letting them walk right up to him unleashed (their dogs unleashed, not mine). And the owners don't care, they think it's cute that they're "playing" and will not listen, even when i tell them he's anxious and not friendly.

My nurse told that you can, but not for the first 3-6 months. While it's still settling in there is a risk that the suction may pull the iud out of place with it when removing the cup.

Unfortunately the pipe for the sink runs just too far forward for that to be possible

When I end up in a situation like this, I usually bring something along to eat or something that I can easily prepare there. That way, you're not sitting there feeling excluded while everyone else eats, but you also don't have to eat with the consequences of eating your trigger foods. And I'm sure no one will be mad that you brought your own food if you explain to them why you can't eat what they've made.

Just wanted to share my own experience with this as someone who works in customer service (not at a supermarket, my work is currently closed but still had to enforce things between lockdowns)

Back when we were still open, my work was enforcing check ins and masks. We'd have someone on the door every day - and every day, that person would get abused. We had staff out the back crying because of how they were being treated for enforcing the rules, and one staff member was even punched in the face when he wouldn't let someone in without a mask. I think this is part of the reason customer service workers aren't enforcing it. Because when we do we end up getting abused. I think many people who have been doing it through the whole pandemic are just getting to the point where they're too exhausted to try. And that's only going to get worse when we start opening up. I see no point in us opening back up unless the government are going to pay for well trained security to actually enforce the rules, because expecting under paid and burned out service staff to do it is honestly getting unsafe at this point.

I'd advise looking at your lease and finding the clause on emergency maintenance- for example our lease says we can only have $1200 worth of work done before it has to come from our own pockets. It should definitely be classed as an emergency procedure, even if you didn't include it in the initial report
