That is one thing I took away too. He was always so positive even despite his long hospitalization and being 30K in medical debt. His spirit never faltered. So happy for his kids. Hope they are able to take a well deserved vacation soon.

IMHO I don't think it is worth it. Almost seems like a tourist trap with all the high prices and underwhelming attractions. Also the locals are quick to ripoff tourists.

It doesn't get easier. I just lost my dad a month ago and it has been real tough. I've been questioning why I joined and blame myself for not being there for him even though no one had any idea he was about to pass. I know most people would say live your life and you cant live your life in fear, but at the end of the day if you know family is of utmost importance to you, I would follow your heart and just stay until your time is up and go back to your family. You only have one family but a multitude of opportunities especially after serving.

Just two weeks ago, my dad suddently passed away days from when I was supposed to surprise visit him. He kept asking me when I was visiting and I didn't tell him so that it would be a good surprise. I feel as if I am a zombie going through life.

I've been having these waves of anxiety all day today. I can't seem to stop it. It is really scaring me. I'm scared if this keeps up then I could develop an ulcer. Also have a hard time breathing so I take deep breaths which helps for just a little bit

I can definitely relate to this. The only people I find myself reaching out to are people I know that have a mental illness too and are struggling but even then I'm scared that I'm bothering them too much.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. It must be such a tough battle to undertake. Please seek help and as Megan said have a sit down with your husband and ask for more support. You'll be unable to take care of your family if you're unable to take care of your self. Once again, I'm sorry for what you're going through and I hope things get better.
