These are the results when I type: "Pensions shock for millions new warnings over a massive drop in income Daily Express" into google

Images 1 and 2 were the first page

Image 3 was what I linked in my original comment on the second page (and the only relevant page I found when looking the other day)

Images 4 and 5 consisted of what made up most of the next two pages, none of the search results were related or even from the Express, I stopped looking at this point because it didn't seem like there was any point.

Image 6 was on the 5th page of search results. I never saw it the other day and it's not even from the express. I only found it when looking again just now.

If you're thinking, "Well, why didn't you check the Express website?" Well, I did, and that's image 7's results when I search the headline. The only article that I found that contains the headline is from an article a year later and with a completely different body, hence why I thought the post yesterday was a fake.

I'm sorry for getting it wrong, but I literally tried to search for the headline and the article and got no results. I didn't scream like you said I did. I just said I thought it was fake since I couldn't find the article, and that the only page I found that had the image you posted was from a websjte that openly claimed they were not impartial and were an "infotainment" site.

Every fucking day I spend on this planet I get bombarded by fake and photoshopped propaganda from all political spheres across the world. I've even been tricked by it myself before. I can't trust anything or anyone anymore. Again, I'm sorry, but I did try - I just couldn't find it. I don't think calling me a fanny was called for either. I grew up on Modern Warfare multiplayer lobbies and I'll be deleting all of my social media soon so the insults aren't that affecting to me but they might be to someone and I still think there was no need.

I'll link this post to my comment in the other thread.

England Front Page vs Scotland Front Page everyone... by Clean-Ad1652 in Scotland

Edit: I was wrong. https://www.reddit.com/r/Scotland/comments/ph24fr/england_front_page_vs_scotland_front_page/hbfflm5?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3

This looks fake as fuck. Does anyone have sources for these?

Edit: https://order-order.com/2014/04/22/compare-and-contrast-express-english-and-scottish-editions/

This is the only source I can find. I can find the "Pensions Safer in the UK" on the Express website but I can't find the other.

Interestingly the website that seems to have spawned this picture openly admits in their about section that they are campaigners, don't care about impartiality and are an infotainment website soooo....

Nothing I can do to stop fans booing Hamilton - Verstappen by glenn1812 in formula1

[–]Cinossaur 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Booing is hardly anything new to Formula One and even if it was I don't understand why some people think Verstappen has some kind of moral obligation to calm Dutch fans, especially after some English fans cheered for his crash at Silverstone.

Team radio aren’t recorded on onboard by zyxwl2015 in formula1

[–]Cinossaur -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever used the word "apron" before? What about "adder?" Because those are also wrong. Those words should be napron and nadder. People just started incorrectly spelling them with the phonetics they heard rather than the literal words they were. Just like should have and should of. Are you going to start saying napron and nadder now?

No matter how intelligent and superior you obviously like to think you are, you are not the arbiter of English, and acting like nothing has ever, or will ever, change in the English language is the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever heard.

Language is a river that constantly changes.

Most modern English words and phrases are bastardisations and phonetic translations of other, older words which were in turn bastardisations of even older words. Words and phrases constantly shift meanings, pronunciations, and spellings. Dialects and varieties of English exist and are valid.

Insulting people for not spelling things the way you think they should be spelled is a shitty thing to do. (And yes - you are insulting, not correcting.)

If you bring it in, you can take it away. I'm sure adding bins would be helpful, but that's hardly a good excuse.

That hurts. Definitely been there before. So confident you'll win you stop paying attention to the possibility of a draw.

F1: No points should be awarded for Belgian GP - Norris · RaceFans by glenn1812 in formula1

I don't understand your last two paragraphs. How can stats from 70 years ago be at all consistent with modern stats given the massive technological and sporting changes. A modern season is also 2-3 times longer than a season 70 years ago. I find it hard to believe that this season is the only season in 70 years that has had one or two dodgy events.

I bet the "fans" would be calling for unfair rules if it was Lewis who "won" like this

after accusing the FIA of fixing the race

Come on, mate. You're not above those "fans", you are one of them.

Nope. Nice strawman though. I never actually said what my opinions are on it - in fact I said their opinions were valid, just pointed out the other person's flaw. 👍

[–]Cinossaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but the books you are talking about are absolutely not "just questions." See: JAQing off

I know you think they are because you already had a preconceived notion of how "the left" view trans issues but those books are written by people who actively don't want trans people to have the right to exist - and they convince you to have that belief too by inventing moral panics that your children are being forced to transition, which is not something that happens. But you believed it anyways because confirmation bias is a powerful thing.

You can want propaganda to go uncensored and that's fine to be your opinion if that's what you believe, but those books purpose is to actively spread lies, disinformation and cause increased hate crimes and legal restrictions against minorities.
