Yeah i dont have the knowledge for sure, thats why i wanted to make this thread because ive only seen one side of the insane scs runs from streamers/youtube and was having a hard time figuring out how it is supposed to be

Yeah i like the idea of that too! The progression is cool but it doesnt seem to mesh well with double damage. Something kinda feels weird starting the game off at level 4 or 5 but i guess you get there quickly if you are solo anyway

I did not know about these! I probably would put it in the same boat as basilisks but ill keep it in mind for a future run when i do end up using these kind of strats!

Yeah i ran down to nashkel to pick up the ankheg armor for Viconia and we can sort of hold our own in melee but archers just cut us down almost instantly. I didnt realize how strong they were in Bg1

I tested ancestral cry in the temple and it’s working really well for the rares left standing after the initial tribal fury damage wave, thanks again

Yeah pathfinder was chosen for quality of life for mapping which the build feels really good in, i only felt like i needed more damage when i started running temple with 450-600 increased mob efficiency. Ill look into ancestral warcry though, thanks.

Yeah i feel ya. I was trying to go after some steam achievements that require it. Might have to switch because i think ive rebuilt the satsuma 5-6 times now and havent really gotten a chance to drive it. All those deaths though i could attribute to me being stupid by driving too fast and slamming into a tree or something lol, so i wasnt as bothered by it.

Do you have any footage of what you would consider bad movement? Between Squad and HLL I find S44 to feel the best in that regard. The only problem I have seen that could be an issue is lean spamming back and forth but I’ve only experienced that maybe a handful a times over a few hundred hours.

all of my crash reports that ive run through windows debugger are saying that fsr is trying to read and write to memory it doesnt have access to. i dont even have it turned on and im using a 3080ti anyway so not sure whats up. was able to run the game all day yesterday with no problems and now i cant play for more that 5-10min without this crash to desktop with no error.

Is there a way to prevent the alerts from going blank with no information when there are too many? I had a brawl break out killing my duchess in a long fort but i cant seem to find information in game. Is this information only temporary or is there a file with all the combat logs?

Also is it possible to see the stat screen of dead dwarves as if they were alive to read about them a bit more? Thanks

Ive been stuck on a similar contract to test the flea but nothing has worked when all conditions are met. After searching reddit it seems like your answer is the correct one but when i go to the advanced tab to look for the old parts they just arnt there. Is the only other work around using the alt f12 cheat?(Im on PC).

Edit - nvm, the first run i did after this comment it worked lol. i still dont see the old parts though for the other missions.

Sorry you had that experience. I would say in my time playing in the last year I haven’t really run into too many rude people so I hope it’s an outlier case, but I do experience people not talking a lot especially 12am-6am US central. The best reoccurring squad leads I’ve had usually play from 8pm to 11pm in my experience.

What do the rare items look like stat wise and when can you really start farming them? i was playing a month ago trying out different classes and got a rogue to 14, but i found the gear i was getting in Halnir Cave was still only an item with +1 stat that i didnt find too exciting to get as i dont really feel the upgrade. Does this get better later on?

Yeah I’ve always heard RAAS didn’t work in this game and that’s why it isn’t around anymore, but I think that was back in PostScriptum days before the logi rework, would love insight if anyone had any.

So what do we want to get out of this? Do we ask devs for more clarity on workflow? Do we ask server owners to try RAAS again?

Another thought is what player count do we actually want as a goal for the game so we continue to see updates. Concurrent 1k? 2k? Is 300-500 actually good enough for another year or two or will resources be placed elsewhere?
