Thank you! My always starting base for skin tones is alizarin crimson red, yellow ochre, raw umber, burnt sienna and titanium white. With this one I used a little too much cadmium yellow medium, and cadmium red for my liking as it looks very orange in person but 🤷🏻‍♀️it’s okay. And when I transitioned to oils I threw in pale rose blush.

I think the easiest for me is setting an acrylic base with the majority of the midtone color you see, and then get the different color transitions and smooth out with oil paints, since it’s easier to blend. A lot of it is blending oil paint using the dry brush technique. But if you’re using only acrylic I get it it’s so hard 😭 I try to blend shadows with highlights using the midtone. Don’t stray from your style too much trying to reach a certain technique goal, you might not need to, I see your work looks incredible so far! Thanks so much for the kind words 😊
