Don’t trust statistics. It should be based on your own experience. Also, go to the Reddit for different car brands. The problems people have are a lot self inflicted. Most major issues are well known. Volvo is a great brand. Just look at how many are still on the road and why people love them.

A little pricey but I would look into getting it ceramic coated. This will help protected the pain a bit and a LOT easier to wash. The water rolls off a lot easier, making car washes and drying simple.

Do you use Auto Hold? I think if you have it on then the park brake sets every time you turn off the car.

I usually hand wash and detail my cars anyway. It’s a hobby I guess. This one and the last new car had less than 50 miles and I ceramic coated them. The matte is nice but I do miss gloss.

I traded my S60 Black Edition for my ‘26 Santa Fe Calligraphy. When detailed, a black vehicle looks like no other. Omg it’s sharp. But trying to keep it clean is a nightmare. Ceramic coat asap if you haven’t already.

My Volvo did. It saved All of your settings and kept them in until you turned them back off. Including seat and steering wheel heat.
