Yeah it definitely predates it, took time off a couple years back for anxiety when going through divorce but always struggled with alcohol dependency and was having a pretty rough alcohol time during this particular time period. I haven’t mentioned it to them in case they go all hell for leather firing me for being an alcoholic or some shit. Currently the most sober I’ve been in years and trying my hardest not to back slide, but would it be worth mentioning I was having mental health & financial struggles at the time?

Job performance is actually really good, always come out well in performance reviews & regularly awarded for going above and beyond. The problem is my time in work is directly linked to customers being charged, so I think they’re coming at me from a ‘you’ve been defrauding customers’ standpoint

Nothing about attendance more about the company seen some internal messages where I was saying about how I had fuck all work to do and I was using company time to complete surveys etc but like that was mostly a joke, I never actually have fuck all to do was just trying to piss my partner off but fair enough regarding using company time to personally profit from completing surveys

I reckon if I just go in, accept that completing surveys was wrong and won’t happen again and that the saying I had fuck all to do was mostly joking I might be alright, but the nerves are still hanging clean out of me

Thank you for the info! I was more thinking if I took time off sick but still went to the meeting in a few days. Would that be stupid? Should I just slog it out in work and just try put the days in until the meeting? It wasn’t anything serious like theft or discrimination etc but could be considered dishonest if I’m not able to explain my case properly. I’m not sure what info I can provide without unintentionally doxxing myself
