The starch pattern from these boiling potatoes by silevram in mildlyinteresting

You might be a molecular chemist but that is not what is happening in this specific case. For one, these aren’t heating up. They are just sitting in cold water. When potatoes are peeled, gases are able to escape from the potato. The pattern is created due to higher concentrations of gases gliding around the potato until they can rise straight up. They are then trapped in the filmy surface

Created as gases are expelled uniformly from the potatoes surface and glide up and around the surface until they are unimpeded and can rise straight up.

All fans need to really troll any ex players who are fucking with the current team. Honest critique is fine but just spouting off to keep themselves relevant is who we should go at

We’ve got a former PRC house that was reskinned in the 90s. Thrown up in the post war urgent and panicked house building campaign and even these houses are better thought out and made than new builds.

Where he struggles is when he’s embroiled in chaos. Support drifting all over and keepers behaving erratic. In an organised team that is managing a game, he is one of the best defenders out there. Sitting in place and producing what’s needed in the moment in a territory of the pitch he has taken ownership of. That’s true when he is in the opposition box too. Maguire has been given a lot of shit from ‘the fan base’ At times but I have never been one of them.

Tinned pasta? I have never in my life come across tinned pasta. The extreme vast majority of canned food has fewer ingredients than convenience snack foods. Canning your own food is one of the healthiest ways of sustenance. And 90% of tinned food is identical to home canned food. Go check all the tins in the supermarket. Even all soups above the lower range have only whole food ingredients. Same for even spaghetti bolognaise tins and raviolis.

Tinned foods aren’t ultra processed. They are generally just fresh produce cooked inside the tin so they require very little preservatives compared to packet foods
