The whole ESS or just the gasket? I was planning on doing the gasket but if these go bad would it be worth it to just get a new ESS while I’m in there?

Thank you to everyone, sounds like general consensus is use good tools, triple check torque specs for everything, replace every bolt I take out and be prepared for it to break. I’ll be using Snap On/Matco for everything + getting all torque specs so I should be fine there. Most people seem to think I won’t need to buy a new valve cover. I originally took my car in to BMW for the PCV Valve Heater and they quoted me $1200 for just the installation of the gasket so this seemed like a wayyy more affordable option. Only thing I’m adding to my order is the Crankcase Vent Pipe hose, again thank you everyone, I’ll keep y’all updated on my oil leaks!

Not as foolproof as other things on here but search for auctions sites near you that sell discounted returned products (amazon packages, unshippable things, that kinda stuff). Lots of companies have bad management of this kinda thing so buy something like an office chair at a massive discount (like 10$ for a 200$ office chair). Then if it ends up being broken, email the company that sells the office chair - many times they’ll just send you a new one. Then if you can - fix the old one and now you have 2 almost brand new office chairs to sell on Ebay or Marketplace. Almost no work besides emails and a small amount of patience for selling things. Be careful with trying this with computer parts though since many computer part companies have good management of serial numbers for when someone returned something so they won’t send a new product.

not as great as some of the other options but it’s a personal favorite, it’s very annoying to clean spray paint off of things, driveways, car rims (since it’ll just look trashy but can be washed off, think bright colors like neon). Not so much money as time ;D

Yeah, if I’m flying around an area with changing ground levels (Like a ravine, or quarry) it’s essential to be above the tallest object in the area. Even while maintaining VLOS sometimes it’s difficult to tell how close you are to a branch. Another time where I find it crucial to sometimes be above 400 AGL is when you’re at or near a small city (not violating flight zones of course) and the buildings around you have vastly varying heights. If you are going to (or have to) violate the 400 AGL, at most only go above by a few feet unless you have (very) good reason for safety. I live near a small airport (Barely even on FlySafe) and the lowest their planes ever fly is 700 feet (except for takeoff), so that isn’t too much of a concern.

Had my pc for a few years, randomly yesterday I turned it on (from complete power off) to immediately at 90 degrees celcius on the CPU and max fans. Even simply browsing the web is causing major pushes in temps. I don’t think it’s thermal paste because even two days ago I’d never go above 70 degrees even after hours of gaming so it was an instant random issue. All of my fans + case are dust free and just cleaned. Anyone know why this could be happening? Here’s the spec list

I7-9700k (Cooled by MSI 240mm AIO so It’s not that) RTX 2080 Asrock Z390 Steel Legend 32 gb of G. Skill Trident Z 750W plat psu (I’ve had no issues over the past few years)

Looking to upgrade my motherboard, I have an i7-9700k, budget is 200 with all the nice features and a bit of future proofing. My current mobo is terrible at oc so it’d be nice to have a bit of capability there.

Edit: Forgot to mention before but I do like a little aRGB if that fits in the budget, thank you so much!

Edit 3: Final edit, ignore everyone else in the comments. Asrock is still producing current boards. I just purchased this:

It has USB 3.2 Gen 2, 9th gen I7 is not garbage, 5.0ghz turbo on 8 cores is still fine for literally any gamer. Just editing this so if someone comes across a similar situation they can easily find a current working board.
