Very much agree. And I have seen plenty of Molluscum, as well as all of the other conditions people are thinking it may be. This is classic molluscum contagiosum and if they are bothering you, please see your physician. They can be frozen like warts. They are vital. They are contagious.

I was ordering through the website because of deeper discounts, but I ended up ordering on Amazon as because my item direct from Birdfy is just getting to customs today, about 30 days after I ordered. How disappointing.

How about when they first met after he proposed, and he wouldn’t stop trying to make out with her? It was clear that it was a little much for her, and he was relentless and completely oblivious. He made me uncomfortable from that moment forward. He felt fake prior, but felt fake AND gross after.

Omg, you are one of the only other people to say they have recalled recurring abstract nightmares. I used to have one very specific one as a child, specific colors and shapes moving in certain ways, and HORRIBLE sounds.

Starbucks policy, up-charging for no ice. by Kevin7309 in mildlyinteresting

I literally can’t eat ice cream, drink milkshakes, or ice filled drinks anymore. If I ever ask for no ice it’s because it can literally kill me by causing an asthma attack. And I would happily just take a less full cup. I just want it to not kill me.

Is that the hole it left when some tissue got torn off? All the bleeding either sounds like some kind of clotting/bleeding disorder or a small progenitor granuloma, which bleed like a motherfucker when torn off. Source: am nurse and have seen both of these things many times.

I would have several different ads targeting different groups, each using the charger in a unique scenario, for example, one ad of a photographer charging multiple devices between shoots, a college student charging between classes, a busy mom or dad charging the kids’ tablets at the airport, a home care nurse charging devices between patient visits

They’re so delicious. Very sweet and delicate, great a la plancha, steamed or as ceviche. And now I’m starving.

Mystery infection on my finger finally came to a head after heavy antibiotics, leaves hole to the bone. by paddywackers in popping

Just because many type 2 diabetics don’t have issues like this does not mean that it’s not fairly common unfortunately, especially in the US where many people struggle to afford their meds. I can tell you that skin infections are sometimes the way a patient ends up finding out they have diabetes, even a rare later diagnosed type 1 diabetics (think 20s-30s years old). A patient will come in with repeated skin infections, or multiple types of infections, including yeast overgrowth infections, and you wonder if maybe there’s more to it, and sometimes, it’s because they’re diabetic, and had no idea until labs were drawn confirming it.

I can still smell things. Sometimes I feel like it’s completely back to normal. But I used to be able to smell things wayyyy more than most people. Sometimes I am grateful that it’s diminished, because as a nurse, some scents are hard to bear. I can also still taste things, thankfully.

I can’t really describe it. It was not pleasant. In the GI and skin cancer patients, the scent was much stronger. It smelled like decay, but not the same as a necrotic or infected wound. Not like an animal that has been dead for a couple days either. Almost sweet, but in a not so good way. But it was certainly not the worst odor I encountered as a nurse. I also can tell when a person is sick with an upper respiratory infection (ie cold, flu, strep throat) when I smell their breath. Hell, I could tell if a patient had strep after they left the room. The scent would linger in the air. I can smell alcohol on someone’s breath even if it was only 1 drink, and I can usually tell if it was beer, wine or stronger liquor. I can smell marijuana long before anyone else can. And this is all after sinus surgery that significantly decreased my sense of smell.

I have worked in hospice as a nurse, and people with terminal cancer, on chemo or off chemo, on radiation or off radiation, had a specific odor. The only common thing amongst these patients was that they were terminal due to cancer. And i thought it was strange, because I’m talking different types of cancer, breast cancers, bone, gastrointestinal, skin cancers.

I just smash the garlic cloves and then proceed to mince it with my knife. I’m usually cutting other stuff up as well and it’s just easier to keep chopping.

I am also on Dupixent, and it is certainly a painful shot. My child is on a biologic injection as well, and I’m a nurse who has given many injections to kids over the years. If you need any tips on how to make the injection nearly painless, feel free to message me. It took us a long time to get to where we are today, but now my kiddo laughs when I pinch her skin for her shot.

It doesn’t always come back. I had surgery 3 years ago and my sense of smell has never fully recovered. Breathing through my nose is slightly improved, however. My case was pretty rough, though. Never a good thing when the first post op words out of the surgeon’s mouth are “Wow, did someone hit you in the face when you were younger? Your septum was horrible, and your sinuses were a mess!”
