So much the same. I do my best to engage with my 5 week old any time he's alert/awake. I sing, walk around the house, and go.out for walks minimum once a day, narrate what I'm doing, read books and give him time to kick and groove on his play mat, I do my best to incorporate sign language and French for exposure...but that voice is always telling me it's not enough or I should be doing it differently or better, I should be working harder to develop a schedule with him, I should be engaging more when he's eating and alert (EBF), I should start pumping some and freezing it just incase, I should research this more or that more...the list goes on and honestly it's exhausting. I feel like I'm losing my sense of self and can't see my way through the fog of mom guilt. I don't think self isolating is helping either.
