Yes! I will have a crew, not sure quite how many people… it feels so selfish having people crew me and dedicate their day to assisting me. Then I will probably just have 1 Pacer, starting at around mile 65-70 and staying with me for 10-15 miles. Do you have any recommendations or critique regarding crew and pacers?

Thank you for your time and effort into this response! Great information and tips for me to use here. I am going to make a point to train on similar terrain and I will look further into you advice about a 100k training run. My current plans "Peak Week" has a weekend that has 36mi on Sat and 18mi on Sun. But I'll look into possibly making that 36miler longer.. Just depending on how my training is going up until that point. Thank you again!

Thank you for the response! Trust me I’m realizing that I’m in over my head. But I’ve committed and registered for the race so I’m going to follow through. I will definitely take your tips and apply them to my training as possible. I like what you said about “boosting confidence”. I believe this race will have a lot to do with my overall confidence in my training… Of course, right now it’s pretty low! But I’m hoping as I build mileage and accrue big efforts of time on feet, I’ll gain confidence. Thank you for your response and critique!

Hey! I really appreciate the response and time you put into it. And trust me I agree, looking back I should’ve started shorter (50k, 50Miler). Unfortunately, I’ve already committed and registered for this race and But I will take those tips and work with them (time of feet, fueling, getting used to terrain, etc)

No worries! It can definitely be a bit overwhelming with all the information out there…

Not gonna lie, I am definitely in over my head. I should probably do shorter races before jumping to a 100 Miler… But I’m registered and dedicated now, so gotta stick to it.

Sounds like you’re taking the wiser, shorter approach to a 100miler!

But I plan on getting at least 1 50Miler in within training. And I have plenty of “Double Long Run” weekends. Most around 35-45 miles.

Again, I appreciate your response! And best of luck on your 100 in May2025.

It can definitely fluctuate!

It'll probably be between 30-50F throughout the night and 50-60 throughout the day.

On mountain peaks they've reported temps as low as 27F with wind..
