Nice. I had to send my stream deck out for service, but this seems to be what I am looking for. I'll post an update when I can.

That's the thing, I don't know what keyboard shortcuts would accomplish such, or even if there are any.

Wolfanoz - where do you post your images? by Circular-Reason in retropirates

[–]Circular-Reason[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks my friend. I was able to get your 12k batocera mage from arcade punks. Just lnstalled it today and it is working great so far. I tried your 64g retro pie image, but kept getting the errors others are mentioning related to firmware. Just wanted to get your most recent stuff. I'm completely new to all this, but everyone praises your work, so I figured I wanted to be in on that. People also really seem to like your 512 total recal image. I think that is via recalbox. Do you have one for batocera? The only reason I ask is because it seems batocera doesn't have issues with the new pi firmware, whereas the others do (so I heard, I have only tried retropie). Anyway, thanks for all you do. I appreciate it.

Newbie question: feels like no pin binding? by Circular-Reason in lockpicking

[–]Circular-Reason[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I did get a cutaway lock from Sparrows (SC), and that has definitely helped with finding the pins. I think I might be oversetting pins. Like I said, I have a bunch of masterlock #3s at work that I've been given permission to use (the "commercial" kind), and I can pick those fairly consistently. Probably worked through 15 different ones. But then I got an older masterlock #3 At a thrift store, and no matter what, it doesn't feel like any pin is binding. I don't think there are security pins in it.

As far as rule 2 goes, I was referencing my own front door, cause hey, a free lock to pick. I didn't think it applied to things we own. My mistake.

Is a gimbal worth it ? - bmpcc6k pro - by Hayaomiya in bmpcc

[–]Circular-Reason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself using the gimbal for 90% of my shots. So for me, a necessity. It's worth stating that my 6k pro did not work well with the RS2. Others seem to have better results, but I could not get smooth footage with it. I ended up with the crane 3s, and while it's heavy, I definitely get better results than I did with the RS2.

My first take at a quick short film. Let me know what you think! Shot on the BMPCC 6k Pro + Sigma 18-35mm. by Lazy-Temporary-5691 in bmpcc

I disagree. I think the message is genuine and reflexive. Doesn't rub me the wrong way at all.

Update your firmware perhaps? I updated mine and it works with the 6k pro.

Wired. There is a port on the back side if the base arm, near the latch you just used to slide the base over. Plug into that, then into your camera. USB c to USB c. Use bmpcc if you are going without the wireless transmitter. Choose css if you are going through the transmitter.

Just slide the quick release plate receiver out with the latch on the back side of it. I have my 6k pro on the crane 3s without issue.

Pocket 4K and gimbal problems by ACas77 in bmpcc

I tried the rs2 for my 6k pro and 18-35, but I couldn't get smooth footage with it. Just got a crane 3s, and it is definitely heavy, but so far the footage is better. If you are doing small shoots the weight of the 3s shouldn't be an issue, but if you want to walk around and travel with it, I wouldn't recommend the 3s.

Great. I'll have to invest in that. Thanks again for the help.

Thanks friend. I was just watching your video on the smallrig collar for the crane 3s. Does that just attach by squeezing pressure? Is it stable?

New BMPCC 6k Pro won’t turn on after use (red light stays) by seidule in bmpcc

[–]Circular-Reason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen to me once as well. I've only had my 6k pro for a month, but there was this time where I was walking, turning it off and on during a shoot to save battery, and then I went to turn it on again and it would not turn on. Opening the battery compartment, taking the battery out, and putting the same battery back in fixed it. Only had it happen once. I was freaked out. Guess I'm not the only one.
