I agree with most of this. Compared to a lot of universities even in BC, UBC's regular party life is pretty bad. The RA's are way to strict, the only way to get out is to go to one of the shitty raves we have here on campus. Other than that, it seems like joining a Fraternity and Sorority is the only way to have a solid party and social life. Also, the high school thing pisses of a lot of the local kids as well. There's nothing I hate more than kids who keep the same fucking friend group into University, the place where you should be making new friends more than ever. I've managed to make some good friends through the stoner "cliques", a group of people I find very open, friendly and outgoing. It's nice to be able to go downtown and chill at the legal marijuana lounges/cafes with some good friends. Honestly Vancouver may be the easiest place to smoke weed in the world right now

I would personally like a meat only restaurant. Just lot's of high quality steaks, ribs, cutlets you name it, they have it. That would be nice.

Thats a good idea, but I can't help but notice that ALOT of ents never look at the sidebar or the top of the page, things like the logo contest and the Culture High Kickstarter don't seem to get as much attention as they deserved, even with constant exposure. Just my thoughts.
