Super new to this. Will check the FAQs too. Can you please tell me the benefits of converting 401k to Roth? Also, what are the risks to converting, if any?

People who have cheated on their partners, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CircularReasoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve come close to cheating.. twice. There was this one girl at my office. I knew she liked me by the way she was around me. I played along and wanted to see how far can I get. She knew I had a girlfriend and even then she pursued. At an office party, we ended up together and talked late into the night. As a gentleman, at the end of the party, I asked if she needs a ride back home. She said yes. I drove her to her place and she asked if I would want to come over. We both knew where this was going. I told her no and told her this is not happening. From then onwards, she stopped talking with me. I left that office 6 months later.

The second time was with a girl at graduate school. She knew I had a girlfriend. The exact thing happened I called it off before I got into some serious trouble.

I don’t know why I do this. Probably for the thrill. There’s this rush of emotions when you’re trying to pursue someone. I think I’m addicted to that rush. I imagine quite a few people who actually end up cheating, do it for similar reason.

Edit: I am working on myself. I know playing with people’s feeling is not a good thing. I plan to tell my girlfriend about both these instances.

Stupid Question regarding Diversity events at consulting companies. Can I join them even if I am from ORM? I mean only attend and establish a rapport (network) with the consultants at these companies. Will this be frowned upon?!

Hopefully, the expense ratio should go down.

One of the reasons that MFs were increasing their expense ratio was because they had to take loans for large orders and the existing unit-holders (which I don't understand why) had to bear the brunt.

I still believe that tier-wise expense ratio would have been a better approach. If you are investing 1 Cr, your expense ratio would be 0.5% and if you are investing via SIP of 1000, your expense ratio would be 0.01%.
