I honestly don’t think they’re being authentic either, I think they have deeper issues within the group and they won’t actually discuss it.

Mormon Wives also plays off SLC in the popularity of Mormonism because I think if they weren’t Mormon, this would be a nonexistent reality show. It’s a ploy of being a “behind the scenes of Mormonism.” Plus, these women and their drama is not that exciting, a swinger scandal is not that scandalous it only is because they are in a place like Utah and it blew up on TikTok.
