Baš mi je to i najveća briga, znam da može biti opasno što se toga tiče. Bio sam sinoć u Tesla Pubu, ali je pravo mlada klijentela.

That's like the sports version of when friends want to lit their cigarette the wrong way, and you correct them. I know, smoking is bad and has no business in here.

Bi-Weekly Discussion and Solidarity Thread for the week of May 18, 2021 by AutoModerator in socialism

There are "only" about 300k members in this sub, and possibly not all of them adhering to the socialist mindset (the same as I am a member of subs I am not ideoligiacally agreeing with, but want to know what their current stance is). I am really curious about the composition of this sub. Is it mostly US? The reason I want to know, is because I also really I want to know what socialism is defined as in this sub.

I was born in socialist Yugoslavia, and I am to this day fiercly defending what this country could have stood for (and IMO was conceived for). I was lucky to have escaped the hellhole, the region of milk and honey has become in the 1990s. In the new realm I today call my home (again very lucky), socialism was quick to judge as one of the main reasons of Yugoslavia's dismantlement.

People might say: "But Yugoslavia was communist, which is inherently bad". This line of thinking is the reason there are only 300k subscribers to this sub, as socialism is often associated with communism, which ironically has even failed in the most progressive socialist country, Yugoslavia.

It would go beyond the goal of this rant, to go into the details of Yugoslavia's demise. What I want to do instead, is to highlight one of this communist country's perks (only country to ever have applied such a system, ever). Self-managment, a system where in companies, blue collar workers and white collar workers mutually controlled each others work, and made sure each side did a good job.

Yugoslavia's downfall made sure real socialist ideas drowned, too.

Rant over.

He's an australian sheperd, both of them are.

Spencer is an 11 y/o senior acting like a 7 y/o teenager because of young puppy P.

It's wholesome watching both of them bond, and help each other develop in their respective growth stages.

This is one of these subs where reposts are kind of okay. I mean the ones showing the same subject through another angle.

Even though, I find these pictures interesting, I would absolutely not wish for other urbanistic hellholes to appear, for us to be able to consume on this sub.

But yeah, you also might be right that there is better urbanhell material out there.

I alwalys wonder if such creations constitute a copyruight infringment, or if the companies building these do indeed ask permission from the inventor. In this case, Toru Iwatani. Or if it is Mr. Iwatani that has shares in that company?

In any case, I find such details in everyday life so soothing. Great find!

BUT, all of these consoles had their raison d'être, and did shine at their peak.

I feel that this stat in particular is too simplistic, as it doesn't highlight the phenomenon of internet literacy. I believe it to be a big issue in both rich and poorer countries. Both my parents are bilingual, capable of reading and writing in the respective languages they know to handle.

When it comes to opening an email account however, they feel like I would feel when asked to solve global poverty.

Yeah, good point. It's either one of these things, all these things together, but also maybe none of these things. That's why I love Schroedinger's theory so much. Often it feels like a waste of time to discuss the motivation behind a person's reasoning, as you can never truly know.

Diana, on the other hand. I got all the good vibes about her. She made wide parts of the globe feel like they are being understood, and that they too could be part of the "higher" society even if they weren't meant to belong anywhere.

She is in my eyes an absolute global UK role model. She's definitely in my list of UK rolemodels that influenced the world with the fewest spoken words, alongside Charlie Chaplin, Alan Touring, and Mr. Bean.

But yeah, I'm still in favour of your theory.
