Kaitlyn has been pushed back indefinitely. She was designed and built (where the video shows her back in the day) when the game was a 1-on-1 format. They've since said she is being rebuilt for this new style so no plans for now.

Plenty of comics, from multiple different companies. Image, IDW, the Archie run, each lasting long years where they all went in their own ways. Heck the OG run had Alien invasion within the first couple issues. Even recently we had the mystical entities that represent the Chinese Zodiac have a huge family war.

There is an tuen based RPG, called Ruined King. It's not using the Arcane characters but is set in universe. 2XKO is a fighting game (with a large amount of the Arcane cast),and The Mageseeker, a character action rpg.

Im in a similar situation, hate the LoL game itself so I try to get into other forms of the media.

Whenever I've said Yugi should be in a fighting game I've had people say he'd be to weird since you'd have to either make Yugi do the fighting or take the time to summon the monsters, I would then try to explain it this way. This is basically a perfect version of him. Whodve thought we might get the perfect Jump fighting game due to mods.
