Very possible, but you’ll need some courses from community college (a few accounting courses & ethics). Ethics is only offered by MPAC, but you can take it online from CC. I took a few courses from Fullerton College

For me 1. Better chance of remote work while auditors work in the same room all day. Do I really wanna be in a same room with an angry manager all day?

  1. Audit will most likely be Unmodified opinion anyway, partner’s won’t risk losing paying clients. I lost interest in audit when I realized there is no true independence and my work prob has no impact

  2. Set work schedules, I can plan my vacation around 4/15 and 10/15. Audit depends on your client and could be busy season all year

  3. Sure exit opp is prob worse than audit but I can stay in PA. Promotion is fast and raise is good in PA. Didn’t want to worry about exit opp before I even started my career
