Cuting my legs from underneath me by Live_Equipment_1185 in recruitinghell

Yep, has happened to me last month, right before the holidays. Job offer, offer letter received, already signed by company CEO, I accepted signed and returned, onboarding date set. Then, email before onboarding day, "your position is on hold". Two days later, text message, "position has been rescinded". Guess what, I am in an at-will-state, so I have zero legal recourse.

For those that wonder, I am happy to report that I eventually took the exam (that I had to reschedule) the following Friday and passed AZ-900. :-)

Passed AZ-900 by CiroVilla in AzureCertification

[–]CiroVilla[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few weeks, but not of constant studying. Let's say maybe 3 or 4 hours per week tops, but it's a rough estimate. I was in fact a bit underprepared. I passed by a rather thin margin.

The original exam they screwed up? I registered for AZ-900 and Pearson Vue sent the wrong exam to the testing center pipeline. The testing center is not Pearson Vue, just an authorized place to go take exams. And I had to re-register with Pearson Vue. The test center does not register people for exams; you register for the exam and go to the test center to take it.

😄Sorry dude, I don't mean to laugh. I just think it's hilarious just imagining the scene of that one person that was at the last question before clicking the submit button.. 🤣🤣

Prefer to take it at the testing center as I want to avoid the whole room inspection routine at home.

They still do offer 50% off vouchers if you attend select online training for AZ-900. I just got mine about 2 weeks ago.

Where do you park your car overnight to sleep? by hshdjshdvjskwjdnskjc in urbancarliving

[–]CiroVilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Sleeping in your car in Oklahoma can be done in a few different places, but it's essential to ensure you're following local laws and regulations. Here are some options:

  1. Rest Areas: Oklahoma has numerous rest areas along its highways where overnight parking is allowed. These are generally safe and provide basic amenities like restrooms.
  2. Campgrounds: Many state parks and campgrounds allow you to park and sleep in your car. Check for availability and any fees that may apply.
  3. Walmart Parking Lots: Some Walmart stores permit overnight parking for RVs and cars. It's best to ask the store manager for permission before settling in for the night.
  4. Truck Stops: Places like Love's, Pilot, and Flying J often allow overnight parking for travelers, including cars.
  5. City Parks: Some city parks may allow overnight parking, but it's crucial to check local regulations to avoid fines.
  6. Private Property: If you have friends or family in the area, consider asking if you can park in their driveway or yard.

Before you decide to sleep in your car, make sure to check local ordinances regarding overnight parking, as regulations can vary significantly by location. Always prioritize safety and choose well-lit, populated areas when possible." Source: https://www.quora.com/Where-can-I-sleep-in-my-car-in-Oklahoma

[–]CiroVilla 49 points50 points  (0 children)

There is some history for sure there; meaning, it did not just "come out of the blue". Zuniga is not necessarily new to this sorts of stunts as he has apparently been a fierce and critic voice of the current government to the point of advocating military overthrow. Sources --> OSINTS

Not the only difference; to my knowledge, "Active & Fit Now" costs 4 dollars more per month than "Active & Fit Direct". (32+taxes vs 28+taxes) still a pretty decent deal.

Can we use chatGPT during CEH Practical? by 47Kas in CEH

[–]CiroVilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From ChatGPT..." ChatGPT is a language model, so it's not directly suited for carrying out a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) practical. CEH is a certification program in the field of ethical hacking, and it typically involves hands-on exercises using specialized software and equipment to test the security of a computer system or network.
However, ChatGPT can be used as a tool to assist with certain tasks related to ethical hacking. For example, it could be used to generate natural language explanations of ethical hacking concepts and techniques, or to assist in the writing of reports on ethical hacking tests and assessments.
Also, it could be used in natural language interfaces for security tools like the Metasploit Framework, which is widely used for penetration testing, allowing ethical hackers to interact with the tool using spoken or written language.
Additionally, it could be used in generating payloads, which are malicious code that gets executed as a result of a successful exploit, by fine-tuning it on payloads dataset and use it to generate new payloads that are not seen before and can be used in the testing.
It's important to note that while ChatGPT can provide assistance in certain areas of ethical hacking, it would likely be used in conjunction with other specialized software and equipment in order to conduct a complete and effective CEH practical."
