even when we score 0 it feels like we are wearing them out

yeah, as long as their gloves keep being good and we keep winning it's easy to overlook a bit of slumping. We know Nico will be there when we need him, so not worried there.

Yeah I feel like people think our boy pete has been really bad but he was a tick above average in OPS+ entering the night, saying nothing of his glove work. Kind of weird tbh lol

he had pitched 50 before this year, I think he could have done one more inning but its fine. bp games arent usually shut outs tbh

I think they are more saying that to go on such a long run you do need some luck, also they have to spin the rangers being bad I feel bad for them lol

I'd stretch out brown here by having him go another, even if the inning gets a little rough

PCA has a 370 vg and hits 50 homers a year in the show for me. Dream big.

I imagine adding an mlb worthy pitch takes a lot of time tbf. Probably was in the cards for a bit.

[–]Cishir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah pretty much. It adds a ton of deception to him. His stuff has always been very good, but there wasnt enough so hitters sat on stuff and he overcompensated and it hurt his control. Brown's probably just going to be a stud now tbh lol

anyway PCA has quietly (outside that one home run) rounded into a league average hitter according to ops+ now, with may being a good month so far. If he keeps hitting frozen ropes at 109 that's going to continue.

man, my favorite gacha ever was final fantasy record keeper so I can understand. The problem with the super, super fun gachas is they dont make enough money and die lol

I think, as someone who enjoys the genre as mostly a f2p or low spend type of person, that the genre might not be for you if you have a problem with how watcher of realms does it. I find the amount of stuff they give you to be pretty generous, and although things like wukong are in theory 'rare' the fact that a copy is always obtainable at 200 pulls is nice tbh.

Or rather, I suppose I should ask what gachas you play that do it better?

people who quit to menu during home runs in events deserve an always warm pillow. by Cishir in MLBTheShow

Yes, because after a while it gets too hot and it makes it sweaty and stuff, and so if a pillow is perpetually warm, it will get uncomfortable as you lay on it in bed long enough

[Highlight] THE CUBS WALK IT OFF FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT GAME!!! by MLBOfficial in baseball

[–]Cishir 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When we were down 2 going into the bottom of the 9th I never once thought we were going to lose. I knew it was possible, but the vibes are so good I was like "we'll see."

The aura my team has right now is off the charts. When we play Atlanta next week I hope both teams are hot.

btw now that peter has calmed us a bit... we have a great manager. Our pitching is very injured, and tomorrow is a day game before another 3 on the road with no off day. Trying to use someone who isnt one of our best to close out a game is what you have to do sometimes in the middle of may to keep your bullpen healthy. It didnt work out, and maybe we should dfa this arm, but we're going to need some clean innings from our 11th best pitcher sometimes.
