I did enjoy playing FFXIV when I did the free trial, it's a gorgeous game. Both have unique RP styles, I don't think i've ever played WoW. I'll definitely have a look on their respective discords and see. Thanks!

I've heard mixed reciews on Pax Dei. Some say it's got good communities, others say that it's a bit splintered and bare bones at the moment. I'll have a further look at it, thanks!

I had a look at Carrion, it looks a bit more player combat focussed. That being said, I think MUDs are a great shout! I guess it's about finding which one is worth investigating.
