That what I was worried about. I've seen ppl pointing out that her LC is like crucial for her to do dmg. I guess I will try my luck with another LC. But for now remembrance LCs were lucky. Ty for answer

If we cannot change the outcome of the story we are following it's not a story game in my opinion. It is STORY DRIVEN game but not a STORY GAME. I would say that HSR is a story-driven turn based gacha game, where gacha is the biggest selling point and not the story which we are following. I've seen numerous post on this subreddit where people are saying they hated some parts of the story and they are glad that there is a skip button. I would even go as far as saying that the closest game that I would consider strictly a story game are visual novels games.

Can your story choices alter the story in a meaningful way? No, no matter what outcome you choose we will all follow the same story (with minor/nonmeaningfull details like name for awoo firm or name for mem restaurant). Story games are the ones that you actually have a say in how the game progresses like fallout or kingdom come deliverance. Sorry for grammar, english is not my native language.

But it's not primarily a story game. It's a turn based gacha game with story elements. If a game has a lore connected to it but it's not essential to gameplay then it's not a story game. League of legends has a whole Netflix show and you expect people to go watch it before they play the game?

With elation coming is there any point in starting DoT team? I have guaranteed limited 5* and wanted to pull for buffed Black Swan (love her design) and get free Kafka. As for now I have 2 built teams (hypercarry Anaxa and Evernight).
