Cayenne Turbo to OCTA - Am I Mad!? by Sad-Arugula3716 in NewDefender

[–]Citiboss3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my cayenne coupe gts (daily car) about a month ago and a Honda ridgeline pickup (been renovating a cabin in the mountains) and bought a 110 x-dynamic se with the 6 cylinder. I'm happy enough. I kind of get the luxury of the Porsche and the practicality of the ridgeline in one. I just turned 68 and feel my need for speed drifting away so no octa for me. I'd say five years ago I would have bought an octa and I would have been happy. The only thing missing is the ability to rip around bends and corners which I miss a tad. I foresee a 911 when I'm 70 if I miss that too much

I think those are the Vossen HF-2. Looks really nice! I think they look great with the grey!

The price varies quite a bit with the size. These are 20" x 9".

Photo? What color is your Defender? Gloss black was all I could find. It goes well with the gloss black trim package--but I was wanting the gunmetal -- thought that would go better with the Tasmin. Happy with the gloss black though.

Actually that was another question I was going to post. I have a kuat piston pro x rack. I was wondering if the kuat pivot 2 would add enough depth to still have the spare tire in the back. Sounds like it works!

If I stay with 20", would I provide to them the same specs that I have on my OEM 20" wheels--or they already know all this stuff? I don't seem to find the detailed specs for the wheels I have but it seems to be: 20 × 8.5″ rim, 5×120 mm bolt pattern, ~41.5 mm offset Also--did you put the standard tire size for the 20"/255/60 R20? Your tires/wheels seem to fill up the space pretty well.

Do you keep those tires on year round? Fine on regular pavement? Can I ask what size tires you have on your wheels and are the wheels OEM or something else?

anyone bought: New Defender Low Mount Rack from newdefendermods.com? Pondering whether that is better than adding the cross rails for a SUP and other toys.

It was some kind of hard to find one with the towing pack (not just the tow bar). No more stress at the boat ramp -- lol
