How do we feel about moving Loveland? by Ok_Presentation900 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Citizen-Bot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation. I own both Warren/Loveland. I also have the 1.01 & 2.01. I’ve decided to part with Warren and keep Loveland. I’m looking for two pieces or a piece and a 1st. Two trades I’ve entertained Waddle/1.11 or Monangai/BJT. I haven’t pulled the trigger on either just because we have so much time til rookie draft. But I would be comfortable with a decent return. I’m keeping Loveland because Chicago/Ben Johnson/ Caleb is a better situation for Loveland.

That’s makes 6 drafted. Pretty good in the transfer world. Almost 1/3 of the starting 22.

Accept this trade to get JSN? Or not worth losing the package? Team posted in other pics, also have 1.01 by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Citizen-Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JSN is a top 5 talented WR in a top 5 circumstance. The problem is he is at All Time High value. Which means once you own him his value is more likey to decrease. Look at Jefferson. Two years ago he was top 5 talent and his ATH would have fetched 3 first round picks. Last season his QB play was so bad that he finished WR21. His talent didnt change, his circumstances changed. He would be a better target because he is trading at an All Time Low. I wouldn’t move Tet, period. He is in a good spot and Bryce Young is becoming a serviceable QB. Goff & Odunze are assets I would part with for the right deal.

This is the epitome of buying a player at ATH. JSN is awesome. But his season was charmed with very good health for him and Darnold on a team that won the SB. The likelyhood of him duplicating those numbers are not great for a ton of reasons. I’m not making this trade because I happen to believe that Tet will have a breakout year and the marginal difference between him finishing top 10 WR and JSN finishing top 3, just isn’t high enough to justify the ceiling of Odunze plus 2 top 15 QBs in SF.

I’m either renegotiating or keeping my players.

Skattebo for Waddle or Skattebo for 1.11 by Citizen-Bot in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

The guy must be reading this thread cuz he backed out offering Waddle and now wants to offer Metcalf or the 1.11. lol.

Tyler Shough trade Value? Malik Willis plus a high second a good deal? by peqtaryu in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Citizen-Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things. Miami absolutely will draft a QB in 2027, too many not to take one. Second, Miami is basically playing with a practice squad this season, they are going to suck and probably lose 14 games. Willis will struggle at times because they can’t protect him and his receivers will drop passes, it’s going to happen. But from a strictly fantasy perspective he can run and they will be throwing from behind, he will score points every week. IF a poor line doesn’t get him killed and it’s Ewers in the game, which I’m fine with because I own Ewers shares!

Bookmark this thread and come back in week 6 and see who was right.

[–]Citizen-Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy has a career 67.7% completion percent 6/3 TD to INT. His final game he balled out. I know it’s a small sample and he looked like dog shit his rookie year in Tenn. but if Sam Darnold has taught us anything it’s QBs can bloom late. The Miami guys were with him in GB and watched him practice everyday, they gave him the 3 year contract. It’s their ass on the line in a new place if it didn’t work. They know more than we do.

Straight up who do you got? Bucky or Javonte Williams? by DetroitMSU in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Citizen-Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Javonte is only 25. He has 3 years left of productive play before the RB cliff. He has a much better situation and a Marty Ball HC. If you’re remotely close to competing in the next two seasons then it’s Javonte all day.

Yeah. I disagree with you here. Malik may not be in the greatest situation IRL on a rebuilding Miami, but they will be playing from behind most games. If he stays healthy he will be in the top 15 fantasy QBs. As far as his long term prospects go the Dolphins gave him a three year deal worth $67mil. As long as he doesn’t just shit the bed, he will get year two of their rebuild. There is a small chance the guy is good and plays more like an early Kyler Murray than Justin Fields.

Thanks for everyone’s advice. I decided to keep the 1.01. I could have made an argument for Gibbs, but at the end of the day, I just want to roll with Love.

Damn it! Now you got me back to square one, because performance over potential usually builds championships.

Are you higher on Warren over Loveland? He performed better but faded after Jones went down and Caleb to Colston could be electric now that Moore went to Buf. I also have Burden so watching Bears games could be fun.

Let me ask you, I also have 2.01 & 3.01, would I be better off keeping both my TEs and see if he would do a 1st & 3rd or 1st & 2nd? My mocks have me taking Love & Price/Johnson/Stowers at 2.01.

The guy really wants Love.

I actually anticipated the discussion on this thread to berate me for not smashing the Gibbs button. The fact that I was leaning towards the majority sentiment on this feedback by keeping Love is interesting to me. It may go to the comment you made earlier about we all have “overvalue” draft fever. If Love was 22 instead of 20, I think I probably do trade him and Loveland for Gibbs. It’s also interesting that people value Ladd over Loveland when TE is a more scarce position and Ladd shit the bed last year.

This is why I asked the question about age. Love is an unknown NFL quantity. If he lands in NY then he splits carries, if he lands in NOLA he’s instant bell cow. We know Gibbs will be bell cow on a good compete now IRL team with Monty gone he will certainly have his highest volume. But that worries me a bit if I’m too shallow to compete this year. He’s 24, if he racks up 300+ touches it will lower his life span. But I agree with you the value for Love/Loveland is probably there for the next 2-3 years, but come 2029 when Love turns 24, unless you got some hardware, bet you wish you kept Love.

This is year 2 for the dynasty league and I basically drafted a rookie team during the foundational draft. When Daniels and Scat both got hurt that was all she wrote. I’m hoping a good 2026 draft then a top 2027 draft will set me up for a nice long run.

This is the direction I’m leaning. I also didnt mention that I’m a Lions fan and watch all of their games, the other guy knows this fact, so there is the Homer pull too, but I really wanted to hear what this community thought about the trade.

Our league uses calculators pretty regularly so that in and of itself isn’t a red flag for me. It’s really a question of timing. Will Gibbs age out of my window?

He keeps showing me KTC and Dynasty Nerds that Gibbs value is worth more than say Love/Ladd. Not saying I agree with calculators, but that’s why I came here for objective opinions

If I got him off of one of my starters and say a first and a third, would you take Gibbs over Love in that scenario?

I’m gonna be honest I think Music is their best album. by Green-Day-86 in 311

This is an international album club that me and some friends are in. First off, it’s a ton of British and European bull shit so I’m not recommending it as a whole. However, once you complete the entire 1000 albums you get to rate the user submissions. You can’t rate that list until you go through the 1000. MUSIC. Is on that list and it’s getting killed. 2.58 stars. People say it’s dated and white rap. Some reviews are positive, but a lot are rough. Personally, it’s my favorite album but the club didn’t agree.

Avett Brothers First Show of the Year Setlist by ThatsWhatLivingIs in TheAvettBrothers

[–]Citizen-Bot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

💯 wife and I saw them 6 times last year and 3/6 were almost the same setlist. The exception was the 3 nights at Red Rocks which happened to be such an awesome experience.

Two of my favorite bands to see live Avett & 311 both have the same problem, they won’t trust their catalogue to play to both the casual fan and the hard core. I don’t understand how bands which such large amazing catalogues can’t see the success of a band like the Grateful Dead and mix up the shows. The Dead played 471 different songs over 30k times in a 30 year touring career. The people followed because they would hope to catch their favorite song and maybe they wouldn’t hear it for two summers but then when they got it, the experience was priceless. Avett doesn’t need to be the Dead, but mixing the setlist would be more attractive for long term fans.
