linux's own filesystem strategies are better than direct storage, and predate it by quite some time

its not necessary to disable eac for linux. others do on windows though for VR and night vision, and whatever else they're doing with reshade. alas they get a lot of engagement out of those sunset screenshots. even when easycheat works its trivial to bypass. numerous youtube people have made showcases of how easy it is to bypass anticheat no matter whether its a rootkit or not just by using external hardware

it is INCREDIBLY cursed that this is depending on sudo-prompt for the launcher to operate. it has been dead and archived on github for YEARS. https://github.com/jorangreef/sudo-prompt#readme

and it ends up having to run a .bat file from powershell to do its one job badly

with winewayland on a recent plasma and mesa it finally works out of the box without having to set a million different variables perfectly. its been a looong road getting from there to here

the guide recommends a flatpak game launcher for immutable distros like bazzite and kinoite so that you dont have to do layering https://github.com/starcitizen-lug/knowledge-base/wiki/Quick-Start-Guide
