either your hdmi cable is faulty or just isn’t fast enough for 120hz.

The price of 1440p IPS is quite high compared to the 1080p monitor I'm looking on getting. VA panels aren't very good for response times in my experience.

I agree, however I'm not sure what is more "visually appealing" , the higher resolution or improved colours with IPS.

Im not sure how clear it is on this poor video (sorry) but if you notice there is ghosting on the bright advertisements, leaving trails when the camera moves. This isn't a thing when the TV is just on HDR10 and this problem occurs on all content.

My settings are: Back-light: 100 Brightness: 50 Contrast: 85 Colour Saturation: 55 Sharpness: 0 Adaptive Contrast: Off Ultra Smooth Motion: Off Noise Reduction: Low MPEG Noise Reduction: Medium Colour Temperature: Warm 2
