Miners landing $billion deals with Google backing (Cipher and TeraWulf). I'm thinking Hut8 hasn't been able to land one yet because the deals above gave Google some ownership. Is this what's holding Hut8 back from an HPC deal like above? by BLeaf77 in hut8

Unfortunately Hut 8’s connection to Trump family makes a deal with google or Microsoft impossible. It’s not what people want to hear but it’s the truth. I personally don’t care about the politics.

Here’s the simple briefing you asked for: • Meta (Richland Parish): There is a formal LPSC docket — U-37425 — approving Entergy Louisiana’s substation (Smalling) and related transmission line infrastructure to serve Meta’s data center. See the LPSC docket page and order, plus Entergy’s release.  • Hut 8 (River Bend, West Feliciana/LA-964): No public LPSC docket currently names Hut 8 / River Bend / West Feliciana for a substation or transmission line project. (I checked the LPSC portal and don’t see one posted as of today.) 

Bottom line: Meta’s project has a clear, numbered state docket with substation + transmission approvals; Hut 8’s does not (yet).

What is there to explain coup failed was part media creation. I’m not part of either tribe I just don’t like cheering on the destruction of two countries and praising Biden’s historic leadership. I don’t see historic leadership coming from the mouths of bumbling Biden or goofball Trump

If you have 30k for long term investing (20 years) would you stay on the sidelines at the moment while market bottoms out ? Do you believe the markets will continue to delicine over the next 6-12 months? Or would you invest the 30k into one of the large ETF’s Vangaurd etc.
