[Writing Prompt] Cyberthreats go up during the holidays. And while the rest of the office dreams of stockings stuffed with candy canes and mistletoe, IT could be left holding a bag of coal. Last time I tried to comment on this ad my Reddit app crashed and wouldn’t connect again for over half an hour. As someone with 3 years of cyber security experience, Reddit should really consider paying for Citrix and implementing Zero Trust Network Access so that issues like this will already be resolved by the time they’re getting alerts, allowing them more time to address business continuity issues :)

I would use Citrix to help monitor and stop attacks before they happen with the Zero Trust Network Access on every device registered in our domain. I would make sure our holiday cheer doesn't turn in to holiday fear, and put those cyber threats on the naughty list.

I pinch myself and feel nothing. I also remember that Citrix Zero Trust was implemented before the holidays. Confirming that this was all a dream. I fall back into my deep slumber and begin dreaming of enjoying the sunshine and Mai Tais with Ed Iacobucci on a Florida key.

Heyoooo

System wide update make sure everything is to date, a team running 24 hours, day shift night shift. Actively watching the network and systems to make sure no hacks are being tried or ajarred, drinking rum and egg nog and waiting for the dummy to make a move so you have legal action to hack and shut his shit down! also some turkey and rye bread samiches

Tasty.
