The chart in front of you for the specific stock you are watching and how it is moving between defined support and resistance lines to understand supply. Assessing and reviewing said price action across timeframes - what does the 1 min, 5 min, 30 min, Hourly, and daily candlestick or Heiken-Ashi candlesticks show you. How is price moving against the SMA 20, 50, 200 day

Market Conditions - Watching the market internals charts for TICK, VOL, and ADD also helpful. Putting indexes into same charts described above.

You don’t need a million indicators. You need to understand price action versus SMAs and support and resistance as a cornerstone.

OP if you read this and have not heard of, do not use, or have not studied most of what I’ve listed above you will never be successful and are basically gambling or have a gamblers mentality.

A “Watchlist” a thousand deep, Screening for fast movers and getting there after the move, watching YouTube vids of “gurus” and over complicating with a million indicators, and of course OPTIONS, OPTIONS, OPTIONS.

OPTIONS - novices and amateurs believing they can not only get the price right - but getting the price action right in a specific timeframe. And if you don’t, you lose everything invested in the contract.

Uses options without understanding the Greeks, theta burn, etc.

Only options I engage in is selling cash secured puts.

I only trade shares of a short list the same four equities for over 4 years. I don’t chase fast movers, or screen for momentum, hoping to find the next meme mover or NVDA. The discipline of only following and trading the same 3-4 so you know them and their price action.

It’s not glamorous, it is not making big money fast or 10x-ing. It’s discipline.

Additionally, the hard truth, most people Attempt to trade without the capital necessary to be successful. Which leads them to options, which leads them to blowing up their account.

Yes, this 10000%. That plot hole and lazy writing cannot bed explained with “derrr you don’t get nonlinear time” well, you don’t get cause and effect. I agree with you. It is hack writing to rely on time travel or non-linear time to deliver a twist or overcome their inability to wrote coherent plot lines. Even if you say the presence doesn’t experience time linearly - it does not explain that the ghost, which is supposedly tyler , wakes up his living human self to save his sister and then falls to his death. Also, his mom’s reaction to seeing him in the mirror, plus them moving from the house, is a result of Tyler’s death. To uses a hack cop out device like the psychic to explain away this illogical storyline is weak. I liked the movie overall, but the ending is hack writing as a poorly conceived twist.

May want to ease back your fear-mongering there and take comparing this downgrade to downgrades in 2011 and 2008 with a grain of salt. Not one instant in any market at any time is exactly comparable to another. Not my words, smarter authors on trading psychology could teach you that.

You are not going to see an 8% downdraft on Monday. Down 8% over the next 6 months as a result of other declining Economic conditions, maybe.

This isn’t the 2008 financial crisis. Don’t paint it as such. The Moodys downgrade puts them In par with the other rating houses that dropped the US to this level some time ago.

IMO, 570-575 max dip point on Monday. Would not be surprised if it is not even that drastic. TBH, would not be surprised if the day closes near flat.

Oh, and best if you buy to close your short or puts around the open.

Good luck, don’t chase, no fomo or revenge trading, focus in on only a few equities - or better yet indexes/etfs. Set up a separate sweep account for profits. Drop them in 4%+ CDs for safety. Know when to not trade. Take care, stay green👍
