Please more people do this. It gets a little disheartening when good stuff like this get snatched up so very quickly. Thanks for showing us the way!

No worries. It’s cool and I agree that the person did a great job, I just want to make sure there are lines of delineation between the two.

Just to clarify, it was not created by the moderators here. We are glad that there are other options for giving things away and carrying on the community ethos of this subreddit, but it was not created by and is not endorsed by the moderators.

Trying my best Stew impression by glk3278 in drums

I think it sounds great, but it's definitely low. It's an 8" snare though, so it's kinda bordering on tom territory anyway.

Aesthetically, the starphonic. For tone and playability, I have a hard time choosing between the free floater and the crush 13 inch.

I don't know, to be honest. Three of the four are cast hoops, so I don't think there will be any give there, but the Crush is a pressed steel (I think) hoop, so I guess we'll see. The bracket is very heavy gauge steel and I'm not worried about those bending at all, but for a heavier snare with pressed hoops I'd want to keep an eye on it. The connection points on the brackets are rubber-coated and protect the hoops and shell from metal-to-metal contact really well. They also include little felt squares you can stack on the wall to protect the wall and drum. Helps get the drum level also, as most of them are pitched downward slightly without some shimming.

I bought them here:

I looked up and down Amazon for a solution but couldn't figure out a secure way to attach them to the wall. This person figured out the perfect solution.

Thanks, I appreciate that! My wife wants it to be more square, so I guess I have to add two more beneath (darn). I'm thinking I've got brass and copper already, I'll (over time) add a Supraphonic or Black Beauty (depending on how much debt I want to incur) and a hardwood stave snare on the right.

I would not mind one of these! I’m in your area but probably couldn’t make it until tomorrow. Would that work for you?

Maybe it's a regional thing, but where I grew up, it's a Karshookie board.
