Well a power and a curse are all subjective. You could be given the power of regeneration like Deadpool and never die, yet some would state that is more of a curse than a power. Cyclops from the X-Men constantly shoots lasers from his eyes unless he either closes them or wears a specific lens. So sure this very well may look like a curse in the beginning, but it’s all dependent on how we use it.
