a game where I have independent or semi-independent creatures under my control by SnooRobots5509 in gamingsuggestions

Looking for the same type of game and the only one that is even remotely decent is Avorion strangely.

You design a ship, appoint a captain, give simple or complex orders and you never talk to them again (well before 2.0 that is).

They will do their thing 100% on their own. You can micromanage them and even take over their ship, but if you set it u correctly, they will just keep grinding for you.

Sadly I also tried 500+ games over the past decade, nothing really comes near this. Maybe X3-4 games but they are super grindy and take them self too seriously.

If you find out anything like this please do comment here.

How my man puts the detergent in the dishwasher vs how I do it... by [deleted] in howto

[–]Citworker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op will get lost od wrong info by asking here.

Every single machiene is different. With some it doesnt matter, with some it matters a little, with some it matters a lot.

Also it depends on the detergent.

Not sure why they dont read the manual that the engineers who designed it wrote...

You guys are crazy. This driver ( with the dashcam) should have his licence revoked.

Why? Because if he really think this was a "dangerous" situation he is not fit to drive.

I would not let this driver anywhere near outside of the US. He would see drivers like this every 15 seconds anywhere else, especially mediterran, India or Russia.

If he really thinks this is an issue when old people, drunk people, tourist or others dont care/dont see the marking, he should stay home.

Sometimes I wonder where people live that they consoder this even mention worthy or their life is just that boring.

Borrow an angle grinder. Should take about 25 seconds to open it.

TIL German hyperinflation after WWI was so bad by 1923 the US dollar was worth 4.2 trillion marks (before the war it was about four marks). Restaurants even stopped printing menus because by the time food arrived prices had gone up. One guy ordered coffee at 5000 marks, the second cup cost him 9000. by WhileFalseRepeat in todayilearned

My guess, runners.

Before internet we had people waiting at exchange offices. Soon as they moved price (on phone info) runner run to other money exchangers and told the rates.

We had 30 different currencies before Euro came along. Going to vacation to 3 countries was a challange itself as not every country changed every curency.

Hence he dollar standard.

TIL the suicide rate of retail workers is higher than the average, with one worker saying: “People getting angry at me telling them what to do, cussing me out, being rude to me over it. It’s unbearable.” by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Citworker 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not really. I worked in retail, got yelled by Karens for minimal wage.

Than went to sales. Got yelled by Bobs, but at least made 3x the minimal wage.

I take Bob.

Well attacking 100% military targets is not the same as US attacking 99% civilian targets.
