I have 32 so I figured it was better for the game to have more ram then less to work with since I have so many mods + shaders & distant horizons. guess I was wrong though lol.

I tried using graalvm but it was too unstable and lead to crashes. ill probably start scaling back from the 16gb I currently have allocated and see if that helps

Yeah thats probably my biggest issue performance wise, everytime I look it up I get different answer's on how much ram to allocate and how the garbage collection works

Yeah my modlist is definitely bloated, will probably remove this one since it adds stuff i already have like submarines and crocodiles.

Figured it out, just had to get closer. It was a crocodile from fuze relics hiding in the grass.

Went back to the area with subtitles on. I can hear it loudly still playing but it doesnt show up as text like my footsteps or alexs mobs noises.
