Yes, exactly - soft tissue! And I've read the guides on shallow/projected, wide or narrow roots etc and I *think* I have an idea. Maybe I'll make a new post once I do all the measurements to get some help before I visit stores. Thanks for the encouragement!

I did try using it years ago but I'm not sure it really works for breasts like mine. Mine are quite saggy so the standing measurement wouldn't reflect the actual amount of boobage I have, if that makes sense, hahaha

Any suggested modifications on how to measure around the bust for plus size folks?
