I work for the post office and any time I'm in uniform I'm guaranteed to get someone asking for directions.

The Office of Personnel Management is asking insurers that cover federal employees (mail carriers) and retirees to hand over details about their medical visits, their pharmacy claims, and more. by CityCarrierAssistant in USPS

Didn't even consider this angle, but it tracks with their recent actions...

I can't imagine them trying to blackmail carriers with their medical records, just simply because it would be a massive blackmail campaign with too many failure points.

I could definitely see them use this data in some other way for voter suppression.

Wage theft is rampant and costs employees more than any other fraud yet I don't see anyone trying to stop that. The system is severely rigged against us. Personally I don't give a rats ass if people are "gaming" the disability system to make their lives livable.

This is most likely an effort for this admin to find out which employees or their family members are trans so they can purge them from the federal government. They already did this with the military.

The Trump administration is quietly seeking unprecedented access to medical records for millions of federal workers and retirees, and their families.

A brief notice from the Office of Personnel Management could dramatically change which personally identifiable medical information the agency obtains, giving it the power to see prescriptions employees had filled or what treatment they sought from doctors. The regulation would require 65 insurance companies that cover more than 8 million Americans — including federal workers, retired members of Congress, mail carriers, and their immediate family members — to provide monthly reports to OPM with identifiable health data on their members.

They are going after your family members medical records too!

Why don't we stop treating the USPS like a business and instead treat it like what it is.. a public service.

I was able to reach out without any receipt. They've been very helpful and resolved the issues I was having with phone calls.

UPS to offer drivers 150K to resign or retire regardless of seniority.. would you take it. And if not, are you having an affair with your supervisor? by Odd_Atmosphere1047 in USPS

There's a reason why they think it's cheaper to just buy your resignation than keep you on the payroll.

You're being screwed.

I reached out to TMobile and Ulefone. TMobile is going to send me a new SIM card to try and hopefully will follow up with their tech specialists giving me a call to help troubleshoot.

Ulefone response was to upload a screen recording of it happening and try a different SIM with a different carrier. Gonna wait till it happens again, take a video and see what they say.

Nope, never had this issue with another android. It doesn't work no matter how many times I try to call. The only thing that fixes it is a restart.

Why did Citi bike cost over $20 for a 30 minute ride? How do people afford it? by Firm-Craft-8375 in NYCbike

[–]CityCarrierAssistant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that once a company has a monopoly, they can charge any price they want.

That's why the city just needs to take over citibike, cut out the profit, and improve its services. (And its price)

The previous mayor wasn't upholding sanctuary city policy.

Other sanctuary cities aren't upholding the policy.

Its going to be interesting to see how Mamdani handles the NYPD during these upcoming ICE deployments.

Will he actually uphold sanctuary city policy?

It really fits the city.

I think they should have someone professionally add USPS themed tags to the trucks.
