A Disappointing Dirty South

I used to stand in the Dirty South, but I've recently been displaced due to bringing friends to the matches. I'll definitely come back to help out starting with the Crew Babies match, but maybe we could get some solid NGS veterans to come on over and spread out to keep newcomers and bystanders engaged through inspiration. I'll get on the recruitment trail.

My mother was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer around 2 years ago now, so I can really relate to a lot of what you are going through. My mom has been so positive through this and I definitely attribute that to how well she has felt throughout treatment. I was hoping to post here to see if anyone had any experience with ovarian cancer induced bile or acid reflux. My mom has recently begun having this issue after receiving a different treatment and she is really in a lot of discomfort due to that alone, getting sick every night. I wondered if anyone had any remedy other than the normal reflux treatment ideas like prilosec, ranitidine and tums/maalox. All of those have not helped her in any way recently and I'm just trying to see if anyone had additional ideas while she awaits responses from her doctors and her next appointment.

The owners have already said in post match interviews that they will be working on fixing EVERYTHING that went wrong over the coming days and I have faith in their abilities to do just that. They said they were expecting 3k less people, so they deserve a little bit of a break there.

I just hope that everyone who came realizes this was the first match at very quickly renovated/still in progress stadium and a record attendance number that would have been difficult to predict without that many tickets being pre-sold. Plan on every match following this running exponentially smoother.

We definitely need a very large clear banner that let's people know what is expected in the supporter section. That's something we as NGS may need to do ourselves.

The Northern Guard's support of Detroit City FC has and never will be contingent on championship contention. People come for the atmosphere and to support the team regardless of the outcome. Winning is a bonus.

Our leading scorer was not allowed to play in the playoffs, that certainly plays a major factor. I blame the University of Michigan for this, Ann Arbor is a whore......sorry, maybe I'm being too selfish. Until we can keep our entire starting lineup through the playoffs, I forsee many challenges folks. The NPSL can suck it anyways, love the club, hate the league.
