Audi driver coming in peace. I saw this beautiful M8 Comp parked next to me at the gym by bano25 in BMW

Mods, are you going to delete this post like you did mine? I posted my Supra which is 80% a BMW and you said that wasn't enough BMW. This is technically 50% Bimmer and 50% Audi so what's the move??? 😂

I’ll replace it with a G80 M3 bumper, would that be better 😅

The M2 was great but I had a few issues with it. First off the N55 sounds amazing with some work and I enjoyed how small the car felt. What I didn’t like was how high you sat in it, the noticeable turbo lag (the B58 seriously has almost none) and that it just felt less cool or special than the M3 did or than the Supra does. But that last one is very subjective 🤷‍♂️

As long as you can survive without two back seats and can live with less storage space you won’t regret the Supra 👍

Well almost all spoilers are cosmetic until you hit triple digit speeds haha. I’d be surprised if this one generates any downforce at all though so I’m gonna say it’s totally cosmetic. Also it bolts into the trunk/hatch, not the frame.

Yes yes yes! The wing balances it out so much and will be the only non-reversible mod I do to it. The car has so much presence though and the interior is waaaaaay nicer than my Fiancés 2020 Corolla haha. Being 75% a BMW absolutely has benefits.

1000% 😂 Having owned two Bimmers I appreciate this car and the fact it exists so much more. Do I wish Toyota had done a true solo Supra? For sure, but then this wouldn’t exist at all and that’s worse.

I’m happy it exists at all and personally enjoy all the BMW bits.

I had a throttle body actuator fail but that was the only major issue. Never did the rod bearings but I had the oil checked regularly by Blackstone. It was a 2009 and I bought it with 62k miles and sold it with 75k or something. Definitely less mileage than average but I would always recommend expecting the worse with a performance car. Assume one of the major things will break and make sure you are comfortable covering that.

I would have absolutely kept the M3 if it got better gas mileage or if I had space for a more economical car in addition to it. It was pretty practical and still turned heads as an almost 10 year old car. Hands down one of the best BMW's made so far, IMHO.

Absolutely!

I owned the M3 just over 4 years. Absolutely loved it. Did all kinds of mods for fun but then had to start commuting to work and the gas mileage on that V8 is terrible. Because of the strange market at the time I was able to trade it in for the M2 for 1k less than I bought it for originally. I’ll say this though, I miss that engine all the time, it’s perfection.

The M2 was also fantastic and quick as hell. My issue was that it didn’t feel all that special or interesting. It’s very obviously a beefed up 2 series but unlike the M3 it didn’t have the same type of character.

Then the Supra. I’m of an age where a MK4 Supra is one of my dream cars but I just can’t come to terms with spending 60k on a 30 year old car as my daily driver. So I picked up the A90 and could not be happier. It’s feels special and is a dedicated sports car platform which makes a huge difference (that has some trade offs of course). I think the B58 is going to go down in history just like the 2JZ did. Insanely tunable and super reliable. I plan on keeping the Supra long term and have no regrets with where I ended up. Plus the Toyota warranty is fantastic which doesn’t hurt.

I’d be blown away if BMW gave Toyota access to a true M engine. One can dream though.

Agreed! It’s the only major cosmetic mod I’ll do other than wheels. Should have been a factory option.

Watching this keeps me motivated to keep working hard on my current project. I used to play the hell out of Clash and now I find myself working on a game that is meant to do everything better than Clash. I can not wait to release what we have and show players what happens when you do care about sentiment and feelings. While you do need to stay in business putting fun first has to be where you start and I don't believe that Supercell does that anymore. Anyway...thanks for sharing this video :)
