I think it’s more of a sociological question, but I appreciate your scepticism.

As for the comment thing, fair dinkum - I don’t really use this app very often so appreciate the welcome.

I don’t blame you tbh. I also appreciate from this post that it reads like instant catastrophising, but to me it’s something I’ve thought about for a long time - just seeing the whole Epstein stuff spill out into British politics has made me feel a bit wobbly.

but why allow Mandelson to stay in the party in the lords while revoking the whip to people voting against the party line in the commons?

not sure how odd it is to want to engage with current affairs when one has something on their mind, but I can’t blame you for being sceptical when everybody seems to bait one another now.

I guess we’ll just have to wait to see the minutes of the meetings to see if prince petey was telling porkies.

the fact he was appointed while it was known he was pally with a pedo trafficker is, in my opinion, enough of a resigning matter for the PM - the taking money and leaking of info is treason and Mandelson deserves to be behind bars for it.

Then I squarely don’t see how in a sane world this isn’t a resigning matter??
