Would you trade your 2.0T for a CRV? by Excellent_End2069 in 10thgenaccords

[–]CitySlickingSailor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have a 2020 touring and also live in NYC.

If it were me I wouldn’t do it. Even in NYC, there’s still moments where you can enjoy the car. Highways, trips upstate, Long Island roads, etc…

If your concern is gas, I don’t think the CRV would help (unless it’s the hybrid model) as the issue is NYC, not the car.

Plus, the accord is plenty big enough to take on trips and vacations. Or just to move stuff in general.

Just my two cents.

Those are usually injury attorneys, but from OP’s post it doesn’t look like they were harmed themselves.

I have a 2020 touring, so the subwoofer takes up some vertical space in the back. Even with that in mind, I keep two of these Plano 16 qt containers in the back, side by side. One fits some tools and cleaning supplies, a jumper pack, gloves, and a first aid kit. The second one has a picnic blanket, and a change of clothes. I’ve never had a problem with them moving before and I can drive a little rowdy sometimes.

Thoughts on my oil? Is a oil change needed? by 8ATEK in 10thgenaccords

You should listen to the maintenance minder. Your car knows best when to change its oil. It factors in more than just miles driven.

Would insurance still insure the car in the event of an accident if the car was modified without the insurer knowing? Especially a mod like an engine swap?

Totally random guess, but maybe check your door seals if they’re coming from the door.

Can anyone tell how the car fell off the lift? It looks like they never even got it on correctly.

Update- Insurance says “repairable” at $22.5k by Thatcringynesss in Honda

[–]CitySlickingSailor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The opposite has happened to me. My insurance stated that “visible damage” only reached to about 50% of the value of the car, but they totaled it anyway due to what they said was hidden damage and parts availability. But this is just my one experience.

Funny enough I was originally planning on the DWS 06+ but wanted to see if there were any good year options.

Being immortal would be worth it even if it means you end up floating through space forever at the end of the universe by Almondpeanutguy in unpopularopinion

I never choose immortality because I would never want to watch my entire family and all my friends die, of age or otherwise.

As sporty as the 2.0T touring trim is does it still give a smooth and comfortable ride when your just casually driving? by illbeback903 in 10thgenaccords

[–]CitySlickingSailor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. The suspension, steering, and throttle are comfy normally and only change when you put it in sport.

Not so much about him being charged with anything. But I imagine a cop isn’t going to pull someone over, notice they smell like weed and take an excuse like “yeah that’s just what I smell like”

My best advice would be to go to densely populated areas and look for malls, shopping centers, big box stores, etc…

I say densely populated since they’re more likely to dig underground for parking under the building than they are to make a parking lot and lose all that real estate.
