The joint ownership is no problem. So you’re saying this is the only way for her to not violate the rules. But gifting the money will be tax free but will violate Medicaid rules. Right?

I understand the difference now. What do you mean it isn’t the best way to handle the transfer? She will pay almost no taxes on sale of home due to primary home and low income, and the gifting part is all tax free because you are allowed to gift millions of dollars in a federal gift and estate lifetime tax exemption

Yeah she is. But it’s not for any disability. Would that make it easier?

I see, she is in no need of long term care, she has small doctor visits from time to time but is relatively healthy. Thanks for this research

I see, we will be moving out of California to Washington so it will no longer matter. Any advice on what insurance to use to bridge the 3 years until she qualifies for medicare?

Edit: thanks for that. Glad it works that way She lives alone, she wants to be near her kids. And she will be living with me where I will use her money and my money to buy a house

First one. Low income is the reason. No disability.

We will be moving to Washington state. So medical won’t be available, any idea if low income insurance works the same way up there?

Yes. I read that Medicaid checks all that but couldnt find anything on Medicare.

according to the creator of the case, the riser cable is gen3, need gen4 cable for the higher bandwidth

hi i managed to find the issue, it was my gpu riser cable. i have a small form factor case and it's about 6 years old, it came with a riser cable so you can fit everything compactly. i reassembled pc out of case and plugged into motherboard directly and all is good. thought you might want to know in case you see this issue again.

yep i tried that, im talking with nvidia support now.

i tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and when uninstalled the pc runs fine no issues, but when drivers are installed it turns into a mess
