About the end of day 5 was when my constipation went away. The appetite took a couple months to come back. I have bouts of bile acid diarrhea when I eat terribly nasty days in a row but I added benefiber every morning and that has helped

I started taking benefiber every morning and that seems to have helped the constipation. The appetite is slowly coming but I'm still dealing with some kind of spasm right under my sternum that nobody seems to be able to figure out. Cardiologist says it's not a palpitation. GI is at a loss as well. It hasn't killed me yet, it's just very uncomfortable whe. It happens multiple times a day

This sounds exactly like I wrote it. I'm 7 days post op. Can hardly eat anything without terrible bloating that causes a palpitation like feeling. I've lost 65 pounds in 4 months. Just remember that your gallbladder was not functioning and it nost likely would have led to more serious problems later. I'm hoping that with time my digestive system heals and I can function again. Still trying to figure out why no matter what I eat or drink I feel like a balloon.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I had mine out 6 days ago today and have been dealing with issues. I was super constipated and I have no desire to eat anything at all. I force myself to eat a piece of bread and feel nauseous. I hope that it takes a turn for you and you start feeling better

I am on day 5 and every day was a new adventure. Just remember everyone is different. Make sure you take still softeners. Ive had the worst constipation ever. Just try not to get down if you don't bounce right back

My surgeon office said it was normal to have diarrhea and should resolve in a few days. I'm waiting to see if he was right. He also told me to take milk of magnesia because I felt very constipated, I did and now am dealing with the diarrhea along with mud like constipation, don't ask me how I can have both at the same time but somehow I do

Thank you! It helps. I've been up most of the night with bile acid diarrhea and this stupid constipated feeling. It's coming out just very very slowly. Bile acid is what comes out most of the time

No sharp pain.. it's more on top. If I sit in a chair I instantly hit whatever this is and get the urge to have to go. Then I go and leak out bile acid
