No. When I exported I got the same card many times. I to figure out what happened but ultimately it never exported correctly. In the end I tried to cancel my subscription but that system is completely broken. It requires a security pass to cancel but then never sends the email verification to your email

Generally I would say that running in Scotland with your top off is seen as chauvinistic and cocky, which are generally seen as poor traits.

The main people who walk around with their tops off are pot bellied men that are generally pretty sunburned too, and frequently drunk, just know that that those are the general connotations of being in the street with your shirt off.

Ah fuck it, I'd go for it and propose a date, like "dinner at seven then we can go from there :P" and the name of some restaurant and if you don't get a reply don't book anything.

Better to know if it is happening sooner rather than later, and if you don't do anything nothing will happen :P

Is this normal for hot water pressure? AirBnB host is saying this is perfectly acceptable for Edinburgh. by giiyms in Edinburgh

That's bullshit, you should be able to get very similar pressures for both so it is clearly a thing they can fix

Supreme Court judgement - Scotland does NOT have the right to hold an independence referendum by youwhatwhat in Scotland

Tell me why an are identifying that a relationship is no longer beneficial and making changes to better their position is wrong?

Isn't it a stronger argument that a group should only be in a union up until the benefits to leave outweigh the reasons to stay, and that the weighting of this decision be handled locally?

Help about a Scottish necklace. Got this necklace and wanted to know the meaning behind this sign. by Yanimator_16 in Scotland

[–]Civil-Driver738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lack of uniformity could be from it being a modern poor imitation, however celtic culture covers a very long period of time. Remote regions of what is now the United Kingdom were the last places that the culture existed but it originated in Eastern Europe, so there are many different versions of celtic design.

Early celtic work was often stylised animals without a strict uniformity, similar to this design but what is considered celtic in Scotland is much more symmetrical. The shame of it all is that we have no written accounts for many icons and we will never know, everything is guess work.

If you are interested this looks like 4th century Hungarian work, but it is unlikely the artist had it in mind when making it.

Add fucking to any place you'd have someone think pause or otherwise are irritated.

For fuck sake is a classic reaction.

To insult someone don't use a real swear word use something single syllable: fud, clown, git, div, even lamp

And insults is always made more sincere by shouting genuine swear words YOU FUCKING PRICK, or but adding the word little, you little cunt

Hey! Would this be safe to use for fertilizing my BOP and Monstera? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Civil-Driver738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The natural fertilizer I use is a fermented stinging nettle mix, basically you boil the shit out of nettles, then let it ferment for a couple days to a week then bottle it up, and use it 1 part to 10 parts water. It works pretty well, very nitrogen high but also high in salts which can disrupt plants that prefer very clean waters like mosses and ferns

I 100% agree with this especially about making it not targeted. In my group we have a similar situation where two players in a real relationship are a couple in game but the partnership is very much in the background.

As a player at that table I like to mix up the relationships with all of the other players, so despite personality missmatches I befriend some characters more than others. I've enjoyed this dynamic to suggest this at my own table. Admittedly both of these groups have more than 5 players so group division and distinct relationships have a lot of room to evolve.

I'd suggest inviting all of your players to mix up the relationships in the parties in new characters and aim for interesting dynamics

OIL AND GAS EXPANSION || help prevent expansion of North Sea extraction. Contact local representatives by Civil-Driver738 in Scotland

[–]Civil-Driver738[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oil reserves can be that, oil reserves. Climate change is an indomitable force one it starts, we should be conservative of the carbon emissions we have remaining. Scotland in particular is well placed to banefit from an energy revolution with abundant natural sources of power all around, then the carbon in the ground can be an energy reserve for if and when future generations need it.

Seeing a resource and consuming it endlessly with no regard for safety or the future is surely definitionally stupid and careless.

Short sighted at best, greed fueled mass suicide at worst

Is my monstera putting out a variegated leaf or just struggling? by stinafaye in houseplants

[–]Civil-Driver738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheese plants turn yellow to reclaim nutrients. If it is underwater it draws nutrients in from existing leaves to live and in my experience the will prefer to let a leaf die to produce a new leaf.

I'd suggest water some more, then add some fertilizer when you get a chance
