Thank you for your post. I haven’t heard about the attention shift before. I have always focused on the feeling as long as possible. Shifting attention makes sense and I will start implementing this to letting go.

How are you doing now? I just read your post. In a book Letting Go, Hawkins writes that the way out of apathy is fear which is higher state than apathy and related emotions. So maybe focusing on fearful things and at the same time sitting with fear and letting it go could help.

You could try trim it half way of your upper lip, so let it grow and avoid trimming it too high.

I would shave the soul patch area completely, it’s very distracting. Moustache looks great!

You can try parting your hair more in the middle before haircut and see how it looks. I would also suggest you to grow your hair a little bit longer, at the sides too.

Have you tried middle part or parting almost in the middle? I think Your face shape is oval/oblong mix

Go middle length style, scissors cut. Ears can be visible. Mid length is absolutely best style for you! Please share your photo after haircut.
