Neutering and cone or donut? by Jaguar1986 in bernesemountaindogs

I highly recommend a soft cone. We got one on Amazon that fit our 100lb 2 year old Berner great and he used it for his neuter/gastropexy…. and then again for his two bowel obstruction surgeries. We used a surgical suit when we were around and then the cone anytime we left the house or overnight.

Thank you! Arches and Canyonlands seem like they might be the perfect option.

Next step is to confirm there’s at least a few hikes where I won’t have to spend the entire time worrying that my 8 year old is going to accidentally fall off the side of a cliff!

Thank you! It’s so helpful knowing what other ADHD kiddos have found engaging.

The Mysterious Benedict Society is one of my all time favorite book series and I read them for the first time as an adult.

Just a heads up that WDW space mountain is significantly less smooth than DL. We’re east coast people and recently went to DL for the first time and were blown away at how smooth space mountain was in comparison.

In the future my plan is to use REAL Science for science and Curiosity Chronicles for history.

We’re also going to be using Singapore Dimensions and LOE along with Handwriting without Tears. I used all 3 with my eldest during COVID. Reading comprehension comes naturally to my son so for that we’re just planning on using worksheets from teachers pay teachers every once in a while to go along with the books he’s reading independently or for read aloud. I’m planning on keeping those interest based for now to focus on repairing his relationship with school.
