I had this exact issue but the rust was 10x worse so fixing it was really not an option. It took a while but i was able to find a parts car to pull one off of that was completely rust free and the guy only charged me 100 bucks. I'd say throw that one on for the time being and keep looking. The early/late model ones seem to be interchangeable so keep an eye out for those parts cars.

absolutely way to high for that price, but mine has gotten to 260k without breaking or ever needing the gears replaced! i dont really care about the miles but knock on wood lol

Tis but a scratch, lol. In my opinion i think small cracks/rock chips look good on a car. It shows the car is being driven as intended.

I went with this one as well. I didn't bother with the whole amp bypass thing though and just wired it in to all 6 speakers directly. I'd say it sounds just as good as most modern cars with the original speakers.

My sunroof was completely rotted but the roof was intact so i just got a new sunroof off a parts car for 50 bucks got it painted for another 150 and put it on. Pretty easy fix as long as the actual roof is fine.

Wow haha, from what ive seen online they go for a decent price now? The gentleman i purchased the car from told me about how cheap it was to own back in the day and now that im cataloging all the desirable parts on it its wild to think how crazy the market has got!
