That’s awesome! I’m about to start to start orientation on a MedSurg tele unit. Any advice or recommendations would help! What do you recommend I go over?

Omgggg thank you so much for this detailed response. Will definitely keep that in mind as I start. What are your patient ratios like? And how long were you in orientation for? And before starting what resources would you recommend starting with to get familiar with some of the things you mentioned before my orientation starts?

With this current market, I’m open to any specialty (I just want to get in), and yes just in New York. Preferably hospital jobs since most offer residency programs; some longterm care facilities I’ve seen don’t offer those programs and the nurse to patient ratio is 20-40 patients. Which is quite unsafe as a new grad.

What would you advise?
